1. Introduction

Welcome to SG Plastering & Rendering Services. By hiring our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure clarity and fairness for both parties.

2. Services Offered

SG Plastering & Rendering Services offers a range of services, including but not limited to:

  • Internal plastering
  • External rendering
  • Drywall installation and finishing
  • Skimming
  • Repairs and maintenance

Each service will be delivered according to the specifications agreed upon in the final quote.

3. Quotations and Pricing

  • Quotations: All quotations are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. The quotation will detail the scope of work, materials required, and labor costs.
  • Acceptance: Acceptance of a quotation is considered agreement to these terms and the details outlined in the quote.
  • Additional Work: Any work not specified in the original quote will be subject to additional charges, agreed upon before commencement.

4. Payment Terms

  • Deposit: A deposit of 20-30% (to be determined based on project size) is required upon acceptance of the quote. The work will not commence until the deposit is received.
  • Payment Schedule: Payment terms will be outlined in the quote. Typically, full payment is required upon completion of the project unless otherwise agreed upon.
  • Late Payment: Late payments will incur a fee of 5% of the outstanding balance for every 14 days the payment is overdue.

5. Work Schedule

  • Start Date: The agreed start date will be confirmed once the deposit is received. We strive to meet the agreed schedule, but it may be subject to change due to weather conditions, supply issues, or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • Completion: The estimated completion date will be provided in the quote, but is subject to change based on the factors mentioned above.

6. Client Responsibilities

  • Access: The client is responsible for providing access to the site during agreed working hours and ensuring that the site is prepared for work (e.g., clearing furniture, ensuring utilities are available).
  • Health and Safety: The client must inform SG Plastering & Rendering Services of any known hazards at the worksite.

7. Materials and Quality

  • Materials: All materials used will be of high quality and suitable for the intended purpose.
  • Quality Guarantee: SG Plastering & Rendering Services guarantees that all work will be performed to a professional standard. Any defects due to workmanship will be rectified at no additional cost if reported within 6 months of completion.

8. Cancellation Policy

  • Client Cancellation: The client may cancel the contract at any time but may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover any costs incurred up to that point.
  • SG Plastering & Rendering Services Cancellation: We reserve the right to cancel the contract at any time, with a full refund of the deposit, in the event of unforeseen circumstances that prevent us from completing the work.

9. Liability

  • Damage: SG Plastering & Rendering Services is not responsible for any damage to the property that is not a direct result of our work. We will take reasonable precautions to protect your property.
  • Insurance: SG Plastering & Rendering Services is fully insured for public liability. Proof of insurance can be provided upon request.

10. Dispute Resolution

  • Complaints: Any complaints or concerns should be raised with us as soon as possible. We will endeavor to resolve any issues amicably and promptly.
  • Mediation: If a resolution cannot be reached, both parties agree to seek mediation before pursuing legal action.

11. Privacy Policy

  • Data Collection: We collect and store client information (name, address, contact details) solely for the purpose of providing our services.
  • Data Protection: All client information is kept confidential and will not be shared with third parties without the client’s consent, except as required by law.
  • Marketing: With the client’s consent, we may use contact information to inform about future offers or services. Clients can opt-out of these communications at any time.

12. Governing Law
